Complete control over user accessibility
XM Symphony supports a number of user types, including:
Business to Consumer (B2C) – B2C customer orders are processed against a generic cash account in Sage ERP in our sage order processing software. They can create a web store username and password so that the site can remember them the next time they log in.
Business to Business (B2B) – Customers with pre-existing accounts in Sage ERP Accounts Receivable (AR) can be provided a log in to XM Symphony. Account details will be automatically reflected upon log in, such as customer pricing, taxes, terms and transaction history. Unlimited users can be associated with an AR account, with users having varying site permissions.
Web based Order Entry for Sales or Call Center – A business that has deployed XM Symphony sage order processing software can set users up to place orders on behalf of customers. The set up can be limited to only those customers that have been assigned to that user in Sage ERP (Salesperson), or they can be set up to access all customers (Call Center). These users can also be provided full transaction history for customers they have access to.
Browse Only – Users can be limited to only browsing the site, with no capability to place an order.
Other features include exporting users as Excel, exporting passwords, usernames and even assigning customers to ‘teams’ enabling your clients to report on their own employees purchasing activity via your site.
